The thermal pools of Theia Thermal Baths

A panoramic view of the new thermal pools, four external and three internal, connected to each other. With over 500 metres squared of thermal water from the Sillene source, whose properties were noted by the Etruscans and the Romans.
Outdoor thermal pools
All the outdoor pools are equipped with water games, whirlpools with loungers, “swan necks” for cervical water jets, seats, barrels and a “well”, a suggestive play of thermal water.
Indoor thermal pools
The pool area is furnished with deck chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs and a bar is in operation which also offers catering with cold and hot dishes. Inside there is a swimming pool with hot / cold Kneipp path beneficial for the circulation of the lower limbs including the lymphatic one.
The thermal complex
Terme di Chianciano spa has enriched its offer with a new complex called Theia “the bathroom of the Etruscans” opened in August 2013. Theia, “she who shines far away”, was the mother of Selene in Etruscan mythology and could only be The thermal pools are named after her, all connected to each other for about 900 square meters of pools, fed by the water of the Sillene thermal spring.
